Ted Kennedy Jr. and Greg Smith, who have both overcome physical disabilities to achieve their professional goals, will be keynote speakers this week at the U.S. Geological Survey's annual conference, "Addressing the Employment of People with Disabilities."
The conference will be held Tuesday, July 27, and Wednesday, July 28, at the USGS campus at 345 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park. The conference is free and runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Mr. Smith, who was born with a disability, has used a wheelchair since his late teens. He hosts "On the Roll," a nationally broadcast radio program that showcases people with disabilities.
