Jim Smith, Greg's dad

If you saw the documentary film, "On A Roll: Family, Disability and the American Dream," you got up close and personal with Jim Smith, Greg's dad. Jim is a valuable member of The Strength Team, offering sales consulting, and the secret to his (and Greg's) vitality: nutritional products you can order online through his Earth Essence company.

Jim is a 36 year sales and marketing executive who spent most of his career as an asset to the scientific products industry. He recently retired from Wheaton Science Products in Milliville, N.J., where, as shown in the documentary, he resided for five years, commuting from New Jersey to Mississippi on weekends to be with his family. Since July, 2004, he has been both at home and on his boat in Ocean Springs, Miss., splitting time between the two about evenly.

But it's not just about the leisure for Jim. After retiring, he immediately went to work on the next phase of his career. Jim is a life-long fisherman, and he has combined his sales expertise with his fishing savvy into a venture he calls, "SalesFishing."

"Selling and fishing are one in the same," says Jim. Check this space for more from Jim, who, since retirement, earned his Charter Boat Captian's lisence. If you wanna go fishing, call Jim at 228-818-0148 or e-mail jssjrfish@yahoo.com.
