Sounding the all clear!
Merficully, Hurricane Ivan spared the Strength Coach, Greg Smith, from the brunt of its fury.
Fallen trees in Ocean Springs, Miss.
Greg's prayers and thoughts go to those in Alabama and Florida who suffered extreme damage and loss of life. Greg is safe and secure in Nashville, Tenn., and his family has returned to Ocean Springs to find fallen trees, but no structural damage to their home. His studio and priceless archives of 11 years of "On A Roll - Talk Radio on Life & Disability" tapes and CDs are safe and dry.

Disability history presentation in Tennessee a hit!
Greg Smith gave two 90-minute presentations on the history of disability services and perceptions, and the history of independent living at the Tennessee Partners in Policymaking session Friday in Nashville. His presentation mixed in old "On A Roll" radio interviews from great disability rights leaders to bring the history to life in an exciting way. His presentation was interactive, thorough and filled with energy -- not a flashback to your boring history class. To bring Greg's disabilty history session to your group, call 877-331-7563.

Next up: General Motors!
The Strength Coach will rally General Motors troops at a conference in Arlington, Texas, next Thursday, Sept. 23. On Oct. 4, he will present at the National Association of Councils of Developmental Disabilities in Lexington, Ky. And on Oct. 5, he will be in Jackson, Miss, for Hudspeth Regional Center. More details about his upcoming schedule next week!
