"The Strength Coach Radio Show airs Sunday evenings at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on the Radio America Network.

Coach John Wooden, seated, holding a basketball. This Week's show - Aug. 22: "Don't whine. Don't complain. Don't make excuses." Those are the Strength Coach's favorite quotes from legendary basketball coach John Wooden's book, "My Personal Best." Tune in this Sunday for a showcase of Greg Smith's interviewing skills, as he picks the brain of a success master.

John Wooden is a coach with records that some sports authorities expect will remain unbroken. Among his many accomplishments, he has 10 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships, 16 appearances in the Final Four, which is the most of any coach, and four perfect seasons, in 1964, 1967, 1972 and 1973. As a keeper of maxims, Wooden can offer words on adversity, teamwork and perseverance. This Sunday, he will chat with Greg about his phenomenal experiences and the wisdom he learned from them.

If you can't wait until Sunday, you can hear the interview right now.
