Heading Home
Friday, after enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with friends in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Greg and his children will be moving back to Ocean Springs, Miss., and into the Smith family home, which was flooded with four feet of water in Hurricane Katrina. Greg is looking forward to rebuilding his life and continuing to work on helping people build inner strength while creating a mass media platform for the perspectives of people with disabilities.
Thanksgiving Wishes
The Smiths wish to thank the communities of Yellow Springs and Xenia, Ohio, for the overwhelming support they received. Clothes, financial assistance, transportation and welcoming attitudes were abundant. They would especially like to thank Joanne Caputo, creator of the "Audience Award"-winning documentary film, "On A Roll: Family, Disability and the American Dream." Joanne and her family welcomed the Smith kids into her home and made arrangements for Greg at Outlook Pointe Assisted Living Facility in Xenia. They would also like to thank Samantha and Eddie Eckenrode, Steve Key, Aileen LeBlanc, Len and Nan Harshaw, Central Chapel AME Church, Robin Hardin, Donna Haller, Susan Gartner, Tom Osborn, Tameeka Howard, Jenny Dietrich, Rosemarie Rossetti and many others.
Greg's Katrina experience has inspired a new keynote address. You can bring "Insights from the Eye of the Storm" to your upcoming event now by calling 1-877-331-7563 or e-mailing Greg@TheStrengthCoach.com
Rocky Bleier on Iraq, Vietnam, the Steelers, TO and more!
Greg Smith is proud of this week's show. You don't want to miss one of the most interesting interviews he has ever done. His guest for the full hour is Rocky Bleier. As running back for the four-time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, Rocky describes how his personal challenges relate to today's chaotic times. Injuries he sustained while serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War nearly ended his professional football career, but Bleier gave his all to become the motivational force he is today. Rocky Bleier shares his thoughts on the Iraq war, the Terrell Owens situation, and what he learned about winning from being a part of a Super Bowl dynasty. Check out his Web site at www.rockybleier.com and listen to this week's Strength Coach program.

The Extra Point!
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. -- John Fitzgerald Kennedy
