This week's show - Oct. 17:
Hope and Passion: Christopher Reeve's dedication to his mission to cure for spinal cord injuries is an example that we all can learn from about how powerful it can be to focus on a dream. While he never walked again, he inspired the world to sprint in the direction of a cure. Tune in to this week's show to hear insight about Christopher Reeve's passion from Brewster Thackeray of the National Organization on Disability.

Personal appeal from Greg Smith: I have made several calls to doctors and to the health department in Jackson County, Miss. No flu shots are available. I have muscular dystrophy and a history of respiratory problems, not to mention three children who go to elementary school every day and might bring home the virus. Two of the past three years, I have been hospitalized in January. Any advice on how I can get a flu shot would be greatly appreciated! It is interesting that we can't get pharmaceuticals from Canada at lower prices, but we depend on England and Canada for our flu vaccinations, huh?
