NPR Rescheduled Greg's Commentary on Katrina!
NPR had to reschedule the commentary because of the suicide bombings in Bali, but they informed Greg that his perspective will air this Sunday "without fail." Tune in to "Weekend Edition Sunday" this Sunday around 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Greg's important commentary about rebuilding Gulf Coast communities with access in mind is a message the nation needs to hear.
Visitability in the New South
The disability rights movement should make "visitability" on the coast its MAJOR issue right now. This is an opportunity for "visitability" to become a household word.

Mike Ervin will host this week's show and interview Eleanor Smith, founder of "Concrete Change," a nonprofit organization with the mission of ensuring every new home has at least one level entrance and a bathroom door wide enough...so we can get in and we can pee!
Home to Chicagoland!
Greg will be in his favorite city, Chicago, Ill., Sunday through Wednesday to promote his new book and to speak for the Environmental Protection Agency. From there, he will fly directly to Pensacola, Fla., where he will be a part of the disability awareness week activities at the University of West Florida. He will be the public address announcer at a wheelchair basketball game on Thursday and give a keynote presentation on Friday.
On A Roll now on bookstore shelves!
Visit your local bookstore and pick up a copy of "On A Roll: Reflections from America's Wheelchair Dude with the Winning Attitude." If it is not there, ask for it!

The book will give you insight into maximizing your capabilities and leading a life of service.
Greg's Smith's success as a broadcaster, speaker and disability leader and marketer is filled with experiences everyone can learn from and appreciate. Read how he reinvented his life and battled against the devaluation of others to emerge victorious. Take a minute now to get your copy.
Make a difference!
Greg's family lost everything in the storm. The insurance company is calling the hurricane a flood, and the Smith's did not have flood insurance. If you want to make a donation to a specific Katrina victim, the Ohio nonprofit AME Church that Greg is attending now and has attended in the past with his family has agreed to accept donations for the Smith family. The church will mail tax-deductible receipts back to the donor.
