Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during my recent illness. Please continue to pray that I get back my strength. I was in intensive care from Tuesday through Saturday and was released from the hospital yesterday!

The award-winning PBS documentary film, "On A Roll: Family, Disability and the American Dream," will be presented at the National Association of Black Journalists 30th Anniversary Convention Film Festival, Aug. 3-7, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The NABJ Convention attracts more than 3,000 attendees from across the country. It is the largest professional gathering devoted to black journalists.
