What do YOU think about the Schiavo case?
The tragic case of Terri Schiavo has resulted in some very strange partnerships. I'm finding that most disability rights advocates, normally at odds with conservatives, agree with the right on this issue for different reasons. Liberals, who are usually teammates with the disability movement, are on opposite sides. But there is a gray area on both ends of the spectrum. The disability rights perspective on the case of Terri Schiavo is seeping through in some media coverage, but it remains overshadowed by "Right to Life" conservatives vs. people who feel the government has no business in their private decisions. What are your thoughts on how the Schiavo case is stimulating new levels of thinking in America? How will this connect or divide us? What are we learning? Post your thoughts on our discussion group and read about the issue from a different perspective.

Who are your mentors? Who do you mentor?
Eric LiuTune in to "The Strength Coach" this Sunday at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on the Radio America Network. This week, we'll strengthen ourselves with an understanding of mentorship with Eric Liu, author of "Guiding Lights: The People Who Lead Us Toward Our Purpose in Life."

Cover of Guiding Lights: The People Who Lead Us Toward Our Purpose in LifeWe all need mentors. Eric Liu shares invaluable lessons of people who instruct from their boardrooms, arenas, concert halls, theaters, kitchens and places of worship. We'll learn how following the lead of an exemplar role model can be life-changing. Booklist calls Eric's book "a riveting analytical description of how great teachers made a difference and how they work their magic." Eric Liu is a Fellow at the New America Foundation and writes for Slate magazine. He is the author of "The Accidental Asian: Notes of a Native Speaker," a New York Times Notable Book featured in the PBS documentary Matters of Race. Eric served as a speechwriter for President Clinton in the first term and as White House deputy domestic policy adviser in the second. After the White House, he was an executive at the digital media company RealNetworks. A frequent commentator on CNN, CNBC and MSNBC, Eric is one of GQ magazine's "Pundits We Like" and was cited by A. Magazine as one of the nation's 25 most influential Asian Americans.

Ronan Tynan leaning on a window. You know Ronan Tynan. The Irish Tenor sings at all the Yankees games. He sang at the 911 Memorial, Rudolph Giuliani's wedding, Nancy Reagan's birthday party, George H.W. Bush's birthday party, President Reagan's funeral, and many other high profile American events, and he's not even a U.S. citizen! The New York Times calls this Irish immigrant, "a heroic voice." Ronan is also a doctor, a Paralympic athlete, a double amputee and a man who sees no limits. Click here to listen to Ronan and Greg talk about life and joke about Ronan's plans to sing at Greg's funeral "many, many, many years from now!"
