Hey, Eastwood!
You ticked off a bunch of my friends. So the way I reckon, you and me need to have a
little talk. This ain't the first time I've told you that. Last time, you hid in your
restaurant like a little girl, probably under a table. Come out like a real man. Come on my
radio show. What are you scared of...punk?
Thanks to Clint, millions of Americans are leaving movie theatres horrified by the possibility
that they could become disabled; thinking that life with a high level spinal cord injury isn't
worth living. I just saw the movie Monday night. It was a great film, until the end. I left the
theatre angry but excited about the fact that through our work here, things are about to change
in the entertainment media. Read my blog for details on all of the exciting possibilities Joanne Caputo's documentary has created.

Mike Ervin—Activist, American Disabled for Attendant Programs Today
Alongside the hype that surrounds Clint Eastwood's Oscar-winning movie, Million Dollar Baby,
the film has also garnered some sharp criticism. Writer Mike Ervin provides his perspective on
the film as an activist for the disabled."

Too excited to sleep!
My buddy Murv, the TV reporter who morphed into a comedian, says we always gotta be "Keepin' it
REAL!" So that's what I've decided to do with every aspect of my work from here on up!
